my background
I’ve been working in the design fields for more than 20 years, as a integrated in-house textile or CMF designer for industry, as a regular freelance designer for different customers or for one-time jobs. I’ve learnt textile design, I have discovered first automotive industry, then sport goods, as a color and material designer.
Then in 2013 I decided to create my own company while teaching in my former school, at l’Ecole des Arts Décoratifs de Paris (ENSAD) where I’m in charge of the textile and material diploma follow-up. My own design studio Excla allowed me to develop a global approach of design, in different fields, different scales, for french or european customers. I really enjoyed working with teams for the redesign of their workspace office, defining the color identity of a brand or an exhibition, developing patterns and colors of accessories or products. I usually present my work during lectures or I propose color trainings for customers too. I love in parallel to be invited to work in residencies, like in Chiang Mai, Thaïland in 2017, or in Saint-Amand-Montrond, France, in 2024.
In 2022, I’ve assembled a team of talented CMF designers to study the french coast. This project called Nuances Littorales has been funded by the french culture minister, France relance and NextgenreationEU.
